1. What is bCODE?
bCODE is the newest innovation of SM Cinema, wherein you can redeem movie tickets, food and drink through you mobile phones via an alphanumeric code.
The alphanumeric code is sent to your mobile phones. All you have to do is to go to the nearest bCODE machine located at all SM Cinema nationwide and scan your mobile phones on the red light. The machine will produce a coupon where you have to exchange at the ticketing booth or at the snack bar to complete your movie experience.
2. How do I receive a bCODE?
To receive a bCODE, you need to redeem the item in exchange for your points. Every item has an equivalent number of points. If you have sufficient points to redeem the item, all you have to do is to text REDEEM <item code> and send to 9800 for free.
Just scan the bCODE on the machine located at all SM Cinema nationwide. To scan properly, the mobile screen should be with light while facing down at the red light portion of the machine. The bCODE should be seen on the screen. The machine will read it and display the item that you want to redeem in the touch screen. Now all you have to do is press OKAY to print!
4. How do I receive a bCODE if I'm using Smart Bro?
Smart Bro subscribers can redeem Smart or non-Smart items via My Smart. You need to have sufficient points to be able to redeem an item. Click here to see how you can redeem via My Smart.

When you receive the bCODE, don’t assume that it’s a garbled message. It’s an alphanumeric code which is a combination of numbers, letters, signs and sometimes icons. The machine can read the bCODE from ANY kind of mobile phone, so you don’t have to worry!
Lastly, every bCODE that you redeem is unique. So if you forward this to a friend, only one of you can use it.
